Get ready for some colourful fun in this weeks STEMtots session. Children will experiment with
mixing colours, matching and sorting, and explore patterns and symmetry using colourful paint.
Through hands-on activities, they’ll discover how colours change, combine, and brighten the world
around us. Perfect for curious little scientists under 5!

Stomp, roar, and explore! In this dino-themed STEM session, children will thaw out frozen dinosaurs,
dig for “fossils,” explore dino footprints, and learn fun facts about these amazing creatures. Through
play and discovery, little explorers under 5 will become mini paleontologists!

Let’s explore the tasty world of food! While playing in a tot-sized kitchen, children will put together a
yummy meal, learning about healthy choices and the importance of variety. They will explore the
different textures of foods in a sensory activity and make prints using potatoes.

Blast off into space! Children will explore planets, stars, and a galaxy of slime through playful STEM
activities. Using their imagination to create a moonscape little astronauts will discover the wonders
of the universe in a fun, hands-on way.

Get building! Dressed in a hard hat and Hi-Vis jacket children will explore the names of tools and
what they’re used for, while learning a little bit about health and safety. They’ll try their hand at
bricklaying and discover how things are made and how structures stay strong.

Rain or shine, let’s explore the weather! Through fun experiments and play, your little scientist will
learn how weather shapes the world around us while counting, matching and creating their own
weather take home pictures.
