Cambridge Science Centre is back at Horsefair Shopping Centre, Wisbech, with a free Pop-Up Science Centre. 

There are morning sessions 10.30am-12.15pm and afternoon sessions 1.00pm-2.45pm.

Each session hosts 1 class of up to 30 students. There are on-site toilets for student and staff use.

Design a sail from everyday materials and ride like the wind in an exciting finale where pupils can compete in an exciting race! Along the way, you’ll learn about materials, forces and design.

In this workshop students take on the role of urban planners, learning what the built environment is, why it matters, and how they can make meaningful changes not only for themselves but for generations to follow.
